Minneapolis (December 1, 2023)—Rasmussen University is excited to announce the extension of its Kick-Start Grant1 to new students beginning their educational journey in January 2024. The limited-time grant which first launched in October helps qualified students save $500 in tuition during their first quarter at Rasmussen. Students must enroll by Dec. 28 to be eligible for the grant. Classes begin on Jan. 2, 2024.
Rasmussen University offers more than 60 career-focused degree programs—from certificates and diplomas all the way to masters and doctoral degrees—across eight areas of study including nursing, health sciences, business, technology, human services, justice studies, design and education.
The University is a national leader in prelicensure nursing education with programs available at 22 locations in six states across the U.S. Rasmussen works with health systems nationwide to transform the relationship between nursing education and employment.

1Prospective students for any program (except those noted below) who start their program on January 2, 2024, may be eligible for the following toward their degree at Rasmussen University: - A grant worth up to $500 will be disbursed during the students’ first quarter of their program. - Students will be billed at the standard tuition rate plus applicable fees before the grant is applied. Students are responsible for all applicable book fees. - Eligibility will be verified by the Admissions/Financial Aid Office before the grant is awarded. - In order to be eligible for the Grant, the applicant must enroll by December 28, 2024.
Additional Terms and Conditions: - All entrance and acceptance requirements for the University must be met. - Grants are non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent/refund is allowed. - Programs with tuition rates at or lower than $248 per credit for full time rates and $321 per credit for part time rates are not eligible for any grants or scholarships offered by the University. - Kick-Start Grant may be combined with other grants and scholarships offered by Rasmussen University with the exception of the Professional Achievement Grant. - Employees of any APEI Educational Unit, including Rasmussen College, LLC and their family members are not eligible for this grant.
