Last year’s fair brought together more than 800 attendees with employers nationwide. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says the fastest-growing occupations through 2033 include solar technology and installation, nurse practitioners, data scientists and information security analysts. The Nationwide Virtual Career Fair provides a platform for job seekers to explore these kinds of high-growth fields and learn more about the skills and education required.
“Professionals today face unique challenges—from workplace stress and burnout to navigating shifting industries,” said Elizabeth Lintelman, director of Career Services at Rasmussen University. “This virtual event is designed to meet individuals where they are by offering direct access to recruiters and resources, whether they’re established professionals seeking change, recent graduates starting out, or students considering their next step.”
Both Rasmussen University and APUS, which operates American Public University and American Military University, have hosted career fairs since 2009. Additionally, they provide comprehensive career services for students and alumni, including interview preparation, resume-building tools and year-round workshops and webinars designed to support ongoing professional development.
For more information about those services, visit Rasmussen Career Services and APUS Career Services.
“Our mission is to help students and alumni take the next step in their careers by building meaningful relationships with employers in high-demand industries,” said Christine Muncy, associate vice president of Career Services at APUS. “By partnering with Rasmussen University, we’re able to expand opportunities across the country and provide job seekers with the tools and connections they need to succeed.”
